Aguadilla Lighthouses
Bonrinquen Point lighthouse I. Experience the allure of these coastal ruins. Journey through the remnants of ancient stone structures by the sea, embraced by the tranquility of grassy surroundings. This lighthouse was built by the Spanish government in a location very close to the shore line. Therefore the earthquake/ tsunami that stroke Puerto Rico in 1918 destroyed it.
Borinquen II was built by the American government in 1921. It is an active lighthouse that navigates both planes and ships. The lighthouse is located in the area where the Ramey Air Force Base was located. There is limited access to the lighthouse.
